Which family is the piano in? Is a saxophone a woodwind instrument?
It is important at GCSE to know which instruments belong in which ensembles. Please make sure you know what each instrument sounds like, whether it is high or low in pitch and which family it belongs to.

Try this site
Use the lessons and then test yourself on the trainers. Time yourself and see how many correct answers you get in 2 mins. Keep testing yourself regularly and see the score shoot up!
Can’t remember the elements of music?

Tim breathed deeply wishing his career would increase in pace so he could stop temp(o)ing. The rhythm was all wrong… the triplets were draining the finances. However hard he tried, however low or high he pitched his ideas, the dynamics never seemed right and work just decreased in volume. He thought he’d give it a rest but his wife said “Text ure uncle, he’s a bit thick but then he’s always got a lot on.”
